Statement on the Execution of Curtis Beasley

The FADP has issued a joint statement on the execution of Curtis Beasley. It is a particularly good summary of the arbitrary and relentless series of executions in Florida during the term of the current governor. It identifies the number of veterans and senior citizens who have been executed, as well as emphasising that in many cases these are the result of non-unanimous jury verdicts. In addition the current execution took place 31 years after the offending.
