Saudi Arabia: increase in executions

ABC have produced a segment on Saudi Arabia’s increase in drug executions since they abandoned their moratorium on capital punishment in 2022.

A report by Amnesty International provides that in 2024 Saudi Arabia carried out 345 executions for which were drug related offences.
