Flor & Mary Jane: The Story of Two Filipino Women on Death Row

A recent podcast provides an interview with Philippines human rights lawyer Edre Olalia who represented two Filipino female workers who faced execution. The first was Flor Contemplacio who was executed in Singapore for murder in 1995. The second was Mary Jane Veloso who was sentenced to death in Indonesia, but was spared at the last moment and has recently been repatriated home(although she remains in custody in the Philippines). Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran of the Bali 9 were executed on the occasion she was due to be executed.
